PETA Kills Animals

Those who have been following these recent PETA issues may already be familiar with this particular case in Virginia North Carolina which is going to trial now. (the healthy, adoptable animals were originally intended for transport to Virginia)

The trial links at PETA Kills Animals currently give some daily updates on the twists and turns in the case.

A petition which addresses a conflict between PETA's illegal conduct and its tax-exempt status is here. Partially quoted: --
PETA's tax-exempt status was granted by the U.S. government on the basis of the group's willingness to conduct itself in a lawful fashion. We believe that PETA has failed to live up to its end of the bargain, and that the Internal Revenue Service should cancel PETA's tax-exempt status.

Poop pick up bags... at another level!

Interesting... Check out the concept, product, and the movie at Fellowlike Pet Product Company in Taiwan.

Potential use for those with a bad back or other issues when following their dog on the daily rounds? Or those who go to beaches and dog parks and can't get to where their dog is 'going'? In bowel incontinent dogs?

It's an odd idea, but horse diapers are another idea that has actually been put to use in urban environments. So the "super catcher" has ...possibilities. :D

Blogrolling

The Anatolian Blogrolling feature which updates the entire blogroll when blogs are renewed Anatolian Blogroll (our blogrolling update icon) has not been working unless an individual site is pinged. This is due to Blogrolling being overwhelmed in recent months with splogs (spam blogs and their bots). Anyway, the new owner of Blogrolling is rolling out changes. Hopefully the wonkiness will all be worked out. :)
